Hoy venimos a explicaros la diferencia de uso que existe entre estas tres palabras: PERSON, PERSONS, PEOPLE.
- PERSON: we used person in the singular to refer to any human being
“Pepe s such a nice person”
“She’s a person I have a lot of respect for”
- PERSONS (plural) is a very formal word. We only use it in rather legalistic contexts
“Any person o persons found in possession of illegal substances will be prosecuted”
- PEOPLE: we used people to refer to groups of human beings or humans in general
“I saw three people standing on the front door”
“Pepe and Carmen are such nice people”
